  • To minimize the number of children and youth at risk through public eduaction, needs based intervention and programmes for safety, security, growth and development of children and young people
  • To establish a programme for the holistic development of the child
  • Continue to improve the literacy programme for students two grade levels and below in their class
  • Increase the number of uniform groups by 2016
  • To maximize the percentage of Jamaican children ages 3 – 18 who have access and/or attachment to quality education.
  • Improve physical access to school building, student attendance and punctuality
  • To install ramps by 2018
  • To increase student attendance to 95% by 2018
  • To reduce the number of students arriving late from 50 per day to 10 per day by 2018
